Miami Spring Game recap

By: David Franklin

The Miami Hurricanes wrapped up the 2019 Spring Football season today in Orlando at Camping World Stadium, the same place where they will open the regular season in August. Team White defeated Team Orange 35-32 and according to HC Manny Diaz one of the biggest things from today was making it through with no injuries. That along with a nice turnout from the fans and some impressive plays in the field made for a nice day. Now it’s time for the coaching staff to step back and evaluate what they’ve seen as they look to name new starters in several positions including the QB and OL. OC Dan Enos and OL Coach Butch Barry have said they will put a lot of emphasis on Sumner workouts and see who shows some leadership and work ethic going forward. So now we look to the August 24th showdown with UF and it’ll be here as fast as Spring cane and went. Some stats from today below.
