Glades Central QB Mack Williams has some big programs in mind when you ask him what schools he’d like to visit but he’s also started doing the necessary things to get himself in front of the right people. He lists programs like Oklahoma, Texas, Auburn, LSU and several others as visits he wants to take coming up and he has already gotten on campus at a couple of other schools. Williams recently traveled to South Alabama and Southern University but he is also having some communication with others like Syracuse, Pittsburgh, and Miami.
Besides getting to several schools for visits Mack is also using the camp circuit to get his name on the radar as well as playing 7v7 with Epic Elite. That along with putting in work in the class room shows he’s taking his future seriously and is willing to do his part to make it happen.
At 6’1 and 165 pounds the 2021 prospect has the frame and the time to grow and develop into the type of player that programs are looking for at the next level. Although he didn’t participate this year he normally runs track and competes in the 100m hurdle and high jump so you can add big time athletic ability to his arsenal. After talking with Mack Williams I came away impressed by not only his talents but even more his willingness to match the work needed to get to where he wants to go. From what I’ve seen in the past when you have those qualities you can usually expect big things in your future and this time will be no different.
