Harrell was able to make the 4 hour trip across the state for the University of Miami junior day, and the coaching staff made sure he felt that he was a priority for them. He plays linebacker for his high school, but the staff sees him as a defensive end at the next level. “Visit was great and I like the direction coach Diaz has the program going.” He response on his visit.
He is taking his recruiting process in slowly, and making sure the decision he makes is his best. A commitment isn’t set or ever a concer currently for the Tampa, Florida prospect, and he doesn’t have any other visits currently planned. The University of Miami will get another visit out of Harrell; meanwhile, that sounds like great news for the Hurricanes. More schools will coming calling and pushing for him to come visit, but the Hurricanes are set to battle anyone for Harrell commitment.
He explains “The vibe was they are looking to get back to winning championships and being competitive chasing number 6.” He expects the team to do really well this upcoming season.
