The rising senior is expecting a big year to finish off his high school career, whinch his goals this year is “ To get 14 plus touchdowns and a state championship.” The 6’5 180lbs wide receiver is a huge advantage for his quarterback over his defender.
Long currently holds 10 offers and his offers from Virginia and Iowa State meant the most to him; meanwhile, he would like to receive an offer from the University of Oregon and University of Clemson. Clemson has been considered WRU after putting in a lot of wide receivers in the NFL in recent years, and their current receivers having major success at Clemson.
While looking for a school of his choice, Long would like to find a place that makes him feel at home and somewhere that can develop him to be the best player he can be. He currently doesn’t have a date or timeline for a commitment yet. The Florida schools are all recruiting Long, and are involved in his recruitment process.
Expect the big time prospect out of Tampa, Florida recruitment to blow up, and Clemson has done great recruiting Tampa area previously. Long will receive a lot of attention once spring and summer camps and evaluation periods are finished, and his visits to seeing schools start taking shape.
